The Vans skate team made the Chukka Low Sidestripe, which was inspired by classics like the Authentic and the Chukka Boot. It gives this old skate shoe a new retro look. This low-cut style has our signature Sidestripe and is made of suede and cotton. It gives you the best boardfeel, flexibility, and grip.

THE ULTIMATE BOARDFEEL, FLEXIBILITY, AND GRIP: The Pro Vulc Lite version is lighter than our famous construction. It has a uniform high wall vulcanization construction and padding built in.

RUBBER GRIP: Skaters were first drawn to Vans because of the Van DorenTM rubber compound, which is made of rubber and gives grip and support. It is the best base for a skateboard.
