VANS - TODOS DIAS VR3 SANDALS (BLACK)

The Todos Dias VR3 is the first sandal for guys made by Vans in a sustainable way. It has a bio-based VR3CushTM midsole and footbed foam for extra comfort, as well as a synthetic leather strap and recycled textile lining. Modern design meets familiar Vans style in the VR3WaffleTM outsole. To get the VR3 Checkerboard globe logo, at least 30% of the sandal must be made of recycled, reusable, or regenerative materials. Vans uses glues and paints that are made from water in their manufacturing process, and they have big goals for being environmentally friendly.

• UPPER MATERIAL The upper strap is made of synthetic nubuck, and the inner is made of 100% recycled PET coated with PU.
• FOOTBED Based on the ASTM D6866-16 testing standard, the new VR3CushTM footbed is made with at least 50% biobased EVA foam that comes in part from plants. The cushion filler is also made with at least 25% biobased EVA foam.
• OUTSOLE: All of the natural rubber used to make the VR3WaffleTM outsole (60% of the compound) is regeneratively grown. It comes from farms that use farming methods that are meant to increase wildlife, improve water cycles, improve soil health, or store carbon. Since 1966, Vans has been known for its grip and longevity. This new rubber compound was made and designed to keep those qualities.
