The relocated DURACAPTM reinforced underlays, updated uppers, and two-part foxing tape with a deeper knurl pattern make the new Skate Half Cab sturdy enough to take regular skating abuse. The newly sculpted heel counter and internal tongue straps increase board control by securing your feet. Even the gum rubber sole that made Vans famous has been improved with the SICKSTICKTM rubber composition to provide greater traction and boardfeel. In addition, POPCUSHTM energy return sockliners provide improved cushioning, impact protection, and leg fatigue reduction for longer skate sessions. In addition, internal heel stiffeners have been incorporated to increase support and stability.

The revised foxing tape, robust suede, and 6 oz and 10 oz canvas uppers of the new Skate Half Cab provide the iconic aesthetic you desire while delivering the performance benefits skateboarders demand.
