Blind Skateboards, was originally founded by Mark Gonzales in 1989, under the distribution of World Industries to Steve Rocco. At first it was a brand based on hardcore skaters, Blind was the antithesis of Vision, the most popular mainstream brand at the time.
Gonzales has since left the company to embark on his skateboarding company, krooked. Today, the Blind skateboard remains under the ownership of Dwindle Distribution.
