The UltraRange EXO Hi MTE-1 fulfils a new promise of an all-weather shoe by combining the comfort and get-you-there features of the UltraRange family with the weather protection that only the MTE franchise can provide. This new style combines the UltraRange's signature comfort UltraCushTM foam cushioning midsole with traction from MTE's reverse lug outsole, which is constructed with Vans' classic all-condition rubber. It also has improved thermoregulation, the new HydroGuardTM Wrap, a breathable Old Skool-inspired high top upper, and a redesigned rubber toe and forefoot shape to provide an optimal fit without sacrificing Vans design DNA. The uppers of the UltraRange EXO Hi MTE-1 are made of leather, textile, and synthetic materials. Whether you're tackling snowcapped peaks or braving a rain-soaked commute, you can set off with confidence knowing that every stitch of your gear has been purposefully placed to provide maximum versatility. It's about the stories you tell along the way. • TRACTION - The UltraRange EXO MTE-1 lug pattern is designed for variable terrain and street performance. Grip and protection are provided by toe picking treads and a higher toe bumper. • THERMOREGULATION - The zonal MTE-1 Primaloft® insulation package employs a high-quality microfiber thermal insulation system to replicate the warmth-providing properties of down, keeping you warm without retaining water. • MOISTURE MANAGEMENT - The new MTE-1 HydroGuardTM Wrap wraps around the shoe and over the toe, creating a dependable, comfortable, and breathable waterproofing system. • COMFORT AND PERFORMANCE - A single-density OrthoLite® sockliner and an UltraCushTM EVA midsole with a TPU heel cradle are used in the UltraRange MTE-1 comfort package. This combination keeps you comfortable while allowing air to circulate inside your shoe, resulting in a drier, healthier environment.
