The Sk8-Hi GORE-TEX® MTE-3 is ready for any environment and protects you from the weather as much as possible. The Vans Sk8-Hi upgrade is made with our most advanced and purpose-built all-weather technology. It has GORE-TEX® waterproofing to keep you dry, 3M ThinsulateTM insulation to keep you warm, and an MTE-3 outsole with the All-Trac rubber compound to keep you on your feet. This uncompromising upgrade delivers our most advanced cold weather promises so that nothing can stop you from your next adventure. The uppers are made of leather, cloth, and synthetic materials.
MOISTURE CONTROL: The GORE-TEX® "GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRYTM" promise is kept in any weather thanks to a waterproof, breathable inner shoe that lets moisture escape while keeping snow and rain out.
THERMOREGULATION: This package of 3M ThinsulateTM insulation is thin, light, and warm. An extremely fine microfiber weave helps to trap air and stop heat loss. This keeps heat in very well while still letting moisture flow out.
TRACTION: The MTE™-3 outsole made of All-Trac rubber has a dynamic lug tread pattern that gives flexible, true all-weather grip that makes total traction a lot better on different types of terrain. Toe-picking treads and a higher toe bumper make the shoe more stable and safe.
COMFORT AND SUPPORT: Our MTE™-3 triple-density comfort package has an UltraCushTM moulded EVA cushion with an OrthoLite® topsheet for better comfort and less weight, as well as to keep your feet drier and healthier inside your shoe.
