The new Sk8-Hi GORE-TEX MTE-3 in Bryan Iguchi's signature colorway, made for the elements with our most advanced and purpose-built all-weather technology, packs over 25 years of Vans snowboard boot history and technology into a timeless, trusted style. The MTE-3 feature set includes an outsole constructed with All-TracTM, an MTE exclusive all-weather rubber compound that provides significantly improved traction with improved toe picking and dynamic lug tread. A powerful 3M ThinsulateTM insulation package for cold weather thermoregulation will keep you warm, and a dual-density moulded UltraCushTM sockliner with an OrthoLite® topsheet will keep you comfortable no matter what the day has in store. Furthermore, the water repellent-treated leather and textile uppers lend an iconic Vans aesthetic to this unrivalled cold-weather comfort. • TRACTION - The all-new MTE-3 All-TracTM outsole rubber compound with a dynamic lug tread pattern provides flexible, true all-weather traction on a variety of surfaces. Toe-picking treads and a higher toe bumper provide even more traction and protection.
• THERMOREGULATION - The 3M ThinsulateTM MTE-3 is warm, lightweight, powerful, and thin. ThinsulateTM's extremely fine microfibers trap air and block heat loss, resulting in an incredibly efficient insulation that still allows internal moisture to escape.
